College Students Get Their Custom Sneaker Designs Brought To Life

Program Coordinator of Lamar State College Port Arthur, Maurice Abelman, reached out to us this year interested in getting custom shoes for his students. Not only is he one of the most generous professors we have ever come across, but Professor Abelman is also one of the most innovative and encouraging professors we have had the pleasure of meeting. Professor Abelman wanted to push and challenge his Graphic Design Class to move past the digital space and design a pair of custom High Top Converse. With the assignment set in place and the students hard at work, it was our job as a small business print shop to help these students' design dreams come to fruition! After getting to know Professor Abelman and his class over video call and some technical design notes, we were able to take each student's idea and bring them to life on a pair of tangible shoes that they can rock around campus! This mission from Professor Abelman was no easy project, but being able to work with incredibly talented and passionate designers from his class was a Shoedio assignment that was well worth the hard work and late nights.
